Here comes Funkware with a new release! Coming out on October the 14th, Bulgarian funk master is back with some more liquidy and funky tunes.
The EP is called Voices From The Funk (coming out on Funkstuff Recordings) and speaking of voices, Albert Tempel is back, providing vocals for two tracks – Sound of Love and Saver.
Pick this up ladies for sure! If you are Liquid Funk lover, you are so gonna dig this one.
Be sure to check out Wyman’s new release on Funkware’s label – Funkstuff Recordings – called Underslung EP. It consists of two tunes called Underslung and Dijon and coming out on 30th September.
A side – Underslung totally puts a term “roller” on a whole new level, the crazy uninhibited drumline is really something else and in combo with funky melody samples, it’s a WIN for sure!
B side – Dijon – gets you into a very interesting state of mind, where you get deeper with every beat. Almost feels like attending some sort of Native American ritual.
Wyman is really showing his skills off in the best possible way and I personally can’t wait for more.

Kiril Bonev aka Funkware is a Bulgarian based DJ and producer. He has been a music lover since his early age and has a huge collection of techno, house, funk and jazz. Then, in 2009, he started mixing. However, his interest in drum & bass music was awakened in 2010 when he fell in love with the style. Drum and bass became an inseparable part of his life ever since and in the end of 2011 he started producing his own music.
Funkware’s style is unique thanks to the funk, jazz and soul music influences,
combined with a deep and rolling sound. A successful start for the new producer
is expected considering many forthcoming releases and also a very good assessment by the world drum and bass scene.
Off Record Show catches up with Detroitraver, old-school dnb head from Detroit who gives us the low-down on the Detroit electronic scene as well as his feelings on the current state of drum and bass.
Maestro Funkware is back with a fresh new release, coming out on 12th of September on DNBB Recordings. Be sure to pick that one up!
A side – Stolen Moments – is a beautiful tribute to oldschool female Funk vocalists with charming vocal sample made by Lady EMZ.
B side – Mindstep – epic roller with magical strings in the background and vocals by up and coming singer Albert Tempel.
You can buy it on Juno or Beatport.
